The Andalusian, Canary, Cantabra, Catalan, Galician and Basque fleets of J80 with an intense calendar for 2019

The Spanish J80 class will have a calendar in 2019 in which all the regional fleets will be protagonists thanks to a tight planning of races that, in good safety, will further increase the level of competitiveness.

The autonomous championships are among the most mature of the national calendar. The J80 Andalusian Championship, in the town of Sotogrande, will be held on May 9 and 10, while the canary will be held on April 6 and 7, the song will be fought on May 4 and 5 and the Galician will be held from May 17 to May 19, while the Vizcaya Championship will take place on June 29 and 30.

Andalusia has an exciting season in the waters of Sotogrande, where throughout the year different championships will be held during the weekends.

Catalonia is one of the regions with an extremely difficult calendar, as shown by its Winter Series race series that is disputed from November to March, not to mention its special Count of Godó Trophy, in which the J80 class has a great role.

The Canary Islands stage different races throughout 2019, including the Canary Cup between May 10 and 12 and its Champions Cup, organized by Marina Rubicón, with date from February 7 to 9.

In Cantabria, the large local fleet presents a very complete calendar with different championships during all the weekends of the season and also highlights its already mythical sailing festival, with the celebration of its "Mundialito" on November 30 and December 1, 2019.

The Galician fleet of J80 is not left behind and presents a large schedule of tests J80 distributed between the Royal Nautical Club of La Coruña (Infanta Trophy Elena de J80 on 1 and 2 June and the President of the Xunta Trophy) and the disputed ones in Pontevedra (Prince of Asturias Trophy in Bayona from 6 to 8 September and the Rey Juan Carlos I race in Sanxenxo).

Undoubtedly the great protagonist of the season will be the Basque fleet of J80, which in preparation for the struggle for the world scepter has prepared a powerful program in which stands out the VI Trophy El Correo (24 February, 9 and 23 March and 6 April), the Trophy One Sails (5, 11 and 12 May) or the XV Regata Surne - 55th Trophy Eskarra (8 June).
