The exciting final day dedicated the new Spanish champions 2018 to the young and female categories. The Canaries Carlos Suárez (male sub 18), Teresa Padilla (open and female sub 18), Javier Domínguez (sub 16), and Galician Unay Ameneiros (sub 12) won the victory in the Spanish Bodyboard Championship 2018
Today the third edition of the 100% Bodyboard Spanish championship was closed in the Canary town of Gáldar. A weekend of competition in which five of the nine finals were decided in the last few seconds, an exceptional sample of the quality of national boarders.
A total of 829 waves, of which 14 were excellent, made the large audience enjoy the weekend. A golden brooch on a day in which the younger ones delight us with wave combinations like 19.25 and 19.00 of the new Spanish champions Javier Dominguez and Unay Ameneiros.
Sunday was the turn for the Women's Open category and all the young categories. The sub 12, sub 14, sub 16 and sub 18 made clear the great national quarry of Bodyboard.
The first Spanish champion to decide on this last day of competition was the category sub 12, debuting in this edition. The Galician Unay Amenerios became the youngest Spanish champion of Bodyboard. Unay, who held an incredible championship, added one of the tires of the event and made a final in which he achieved a total score of 12.50 points that would serve him to proclaim himself the champion of Spain.
Then the next category that his new Spanish champion decided was the sub 14 category. Here, the canary David Pérez imposed on his compatriots Javier Martínez, Ramón Pérez and José Gaby Mendoza. With a total score of 13.05 the young promise was proclaimed new champion of Spain.

It would close the day one of the most expected endings of the event. The male sub-18 category would close the third edition of the 100% bodyboard Spanish Championship. In a beautiful Canarian duel Carlos Suárez was imposed on Fernando Medina, Willy Lujan and Carlos Martín. A final that would be decided in the last wave and in the final minutes. A wave of 7.75 proclaimed the new Spanish champion of the Aruquense sub 18
After the end of the category sub 14 was the turn for the girls sub 18. The Tierfeña Teresa Padilla was in the first of the two finals she would win. With two waves valued at 7.00 and 6.25, the young surfer had no choice for her rivals. Without leaving the water Teresa repeated the end and triumph. In the Women's Open category, it was again imposed against rivals who saw the great state of shape and the great talent of the island's bodyboarder.
The sub16 also gave a great show in the water. The Canaries Armide Solideres, Yared Suárez and Omar Marrero saw as in a last wave valued with 7.10 points Javier Domínguez was raised with the title of Spanish champion. The current subchampion of Europe was imposed on the current champion Armide Solidios in a great dose of talent from both.
