In its commitment to recover the names of cities for the ships that are part of its fleet, Trasmediterranean has renamed "City of Palma" the ship "Dimonias," which is being reviewed by regulation. It is the fourth to have this name in the centenary history of the company and to pay tribute to the capital of Mallorca and the Balearic Islands.

In short, when you return to service, the ship will show the new corporate image of Transmediterranean. This vanguard identity, which was released last July, shows the company's modernity and tradition, two aspects that identify the shipping company today, through a new logo of red, grey and white colors. It is based on the historic foundational gallardete, which is a modern, dynamic sign, which also reminds of the sea stelae that open at the pass of a fast ship.

The ship "City of Palma," acquired in June 2017, joined the Palma-Barcelona nightline, which has allowed a very demanding connection to be recovered. This allows for a greater flow of supplies to the Balear Capital and at the same time adds a further rotation in the programming of TransMediterranean, thus strengthening the maritime highway between the two capitals. Located in the Balearic Islands, the ship serves several lines of the sector, where it stands out for its versatility and operational capacity.
