The Federation of Vela de la Comunitat Valenciana closed last Friday in the Marina de València an intense week of training work in which a total of 70 people participated. The first block was focused on the Higher Sports Technicians, while the second one was established in the framework of the XIV Congress of Certified Schools.
This first block was set up in three days, from 12 to 15 November, with a high participation of the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, the Community of Madrid, the Region of Murcia and the Comunitat Valenciana and in which various subjects were discussed, all related to the management and organization of a nautical sports centre, within the framework of the organization and management of companies of the centres themselves. A subject that was assisted by the master's degree in the management of sports entities at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
A few days that had prominent people in the nautical sector and in the organization of great events case of David María, organizer of the departure of The Volvo Ocean Race for 4 years; Carlos Torrado, president of the FVCV Committee of Competition; María Torrijo, Professional Regatas Officer and Enrique Mas, Technical Director Area Sports Club Nautico Sant Antoni, among many other professionals.
The day Thursday 15 was marked by the very interesting agenda for all, turning around the figure of the 'manager', where it was possible to see how difficult and meticulous it is to organize a nautical entity. The subject matter was very important for the attendees and a round table was organized in which up to seven managers from various nautical clubs, including Jávea, Castellón, Calpe, Altea, Sant Antoni de Portmany (Ibiza) or Port Saplaya, and the manager of the Valencian federal entity himself, participated. A working table with the outstanding intervention of Luis Nogueroles (manager of CN Jávea) who explained to the attendees the relationship between a nautical centre and the public administration.
