The ship Volcano de Tinamar of the group Naviera Armas, which has just been incorporated into the communications of Transmediterranio Palma- Barcelona- Palma, has hosted last night the official presentation of TaPalma 2018, route of tapas and cocktails, which this year will take place from 28 November to 2 December in Palma. The attendees were able to enjoy the event in one of the rooms of the Volcano de Tinamar with views of the pool. It is now the best ship operating in this Mediterranean area and has the capacity to transport more than 1,700 passengers
Transmediterranean is one of the main sponsors of this gastronomic event which, year after year, is consolidated as a regional reference and which continues to support a vital sector in the economy of the Balearic Islands. The main reason why this edition will be held at the end of November is that, as the organization pointed out "our goal is to help depark and achieve an increase in public flow in the low season."

The official presentation of the tapas and cocktail gastronomic competition was held last night on board the ship Volcano de Tinamar, recently incorporated into the connections between Palma and Barcelona de Trasmediterrania which, for the third consecutive year, is one of the main sponsors of the competition
For his part, the manager of Marketing and Customer Experience of TransMediterranean, Federico Pareja, one of the participants in the event, explained that "it is a pride to collaborate with TaPalma for the third year in a row, not only because of participating in a playful activity, but because it is a joy for us to contribute to activities that help to promote off-season tourism." This year a Trasmetapeo route with local ingredients is also repeated, following the success of the last edition.
The presentation was attended by the Director of Local Economic Development, Lluís Socias Abraham; the Director General of Institutional Relations and External Action, Josep Claverol Florit; the Managing Director of the Fundació Turisme Palma de Mallorca 365, Pedro Homar; the President of the Tourism Promotion, Eduardo Gamero; the President of Restoration Mallorca, Alfonso Robledo; the President of the Association of Barmans de Baleares, Antonio Barea, as well as the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Palma, Antonio Mercant and representatives of the port sector.
