After the final edition of the Yatch Racing Forum 2018 in Lorient, the capital of Bizkaia begins the countdown to host in 2019 the most prestigious annual congress in the world of sailing

The city of Bilbao was one of the major protagonists in the closing day of the Yacht Racing Forum 2018, which took place this week in the French town of Lorient and which has had the presence of the most influential personalities of the competition candle.

The representatives of the capital of Bizkaia present in Britain collected the witness of Lorient and started the account back for the 2019 edition, in which they will host the congress in which the great guidelines of the business and the competition sailing industry are marked.

The Foral Diputación of Bizkaia, the City of Bilbao and the Harbour Authority of Bilbao are responsible for having managed to attract even the Vizcana capital to the most prestigious congress in the world of sailing, in coordination with the company Atlantik Events.

In this edition, Lorient, one of the mecas of the world's nautical industry, has brought together 450 delegates who have represented all the business sectors around this sport.

Bilbao had a busy stand at the Lorient Congress Palace, where the event took place, in which visitors were able to learn about the many attractions of the city before they visited it on November 25 and 26, 2019, which are the dates chosen for the next edition of the Yacht Racing Forum.
