Maria Perelló de Baleares is imposed in the Hispanic Trophy of Optimist in the bay of Cadiz

Farewell of height for the III Trophy of the Hispanity of Optimist in the bay of Cadiz... the Majorcan María Perello, the canary Javier Ojeda and the Andalusian Aguilar, Serra, González and Vázquez, are distributed the titles
Waves of three meters and winds above fifteen knots of intensity is what left 'Leslie' in its way through the bay of Cadiz for the farewell of the 3rd Trophy of the Hispanity of Optimist. Impressive closure in which only the Sub 16 fleet was involved and impressive the action of some regatists who to seek a good result had before controlling some ships that today looked like unbounded horses. With this picture from early on, the race committee barely hesitated to leave the little ones on the ground and end the race for them. The rest held three more tests to close with nine a championship that will remain in the memory of many for its spectacular and splendid conditions in a bay at the height of the fleet and vice versa.
Far from being conservative, the regatist shot twice the world champion (2017 / 2018) Maria Perello, defended the first square by winning two tests and with a second in the other increased her income to beat with more than ten points. In the same group the only race that the representative of the CN Arenal let escape was won by the canary Javier Ojeda, who with two in the first and third of the day accesses the podium to stay and proclaim himself the male champion and absolute subchampion. The podium was completed by the club partner of Perello, Marc Mesquida, a regatist who said goodbye with a room as the best partial in the other group. Baleares and canaries align in the top ten in this class, with the only Andalusian, the young Susana Ridao (CN Puerto Sherry), classified in the ninth absolute and third place on the female podium.
In the absence of further evidence in Sub 13, things remain as they were at the end of the second day and the victory of the regatist of the CNM Benalmádena, Roberto Aguilar, is confirmed, followed with the same points by the young woman of the RCMT Punta Umbria, Adriana Serra, who revalidates the female title in order to remain unbeatable in the palmaris of the trophy. The podium is completed by the male winner of the previous edition, the regatist of the CNM Benalmádena, José Manuel Pachón, which this year is in line with the male subchampionship and the absolute bronze.
The championship also recognizes in this class the winners of the category Sub 11, titles that fall to the regatists Rodrigo Luis González of the CDN Punta Umbria, and Daniela Vázquez, belonging to the sailing team of the RCN of Motril. González also signs a more than worthy seventh absolute square.
