This is not the first time that the ships of TransMediterranean transport units and equipment from the EMU to the Balearic Islands, human equipment and material have been previously transported to help in the fire-fighting.

The ships from TransMediterranean have moved the troops of the Military Emergency Unit (EMU) displaced by sea from the peninsula to Mallorca. This morning, the new UME troops were landed in Palma by the shipping company that they traveled tonight on board the Forza ship, which left Valencia to the Balear Capital.

Yesterday, the first UME troops landed in Palma at 07: 00 hours, which they embarked at the last hour of Tuesday night in Valencia; the ship Forza delayed their usual departure for this reason in order to be able to board the displaced units of the UME with human and technical equipment, recovering hours during the journey to arrive in the first hour of the morning to the island on its usual schedule.

From Barcelona they also embarked on Wednesday units of the UME on the ship Dimonios that left at noon of Barcelona with human equipment, rescue dogs and vehicles. In this case also the ship delayed its departure to be able to board the equipment, recovering during the journey to arrive in its usual time to the Balar capital.
