The Real Club Marítimo de Melilla has held almost all the leading role in closing the 20th Surfari Mar Menor 2018. The club melillense, in addition to taking the trophy to the club that has had the most representation on the quote of the Minor Sea, has copped the podium in the Open Children class including the first female.

Today's third day has again been marked by meteorology, with a strong blow and a low-intensity wind that has not allowed to navigate the Windsurfing, Open Foil and Slalom Formula. The first were able to complete a test on the Saturday day. The wind has reached 8 knots, though not constant, always on a 220th axis.

The Mellillense Azul Sánchez (RCM Melilla), as planned, has had no problems with the first square. In the end, after the 11 completed tests of the 12 planned, Sanchez has made 7 first posts while in the remaining 4 it has not dropped from second. The podium has been completed by his club partners: Elena Payá, adding 22 points, and Emira Rodríguez, with 31 points. The CartagJanuary Alvaro Raúl García (RCR Cartagena) has been the first in the male category, fourth in the absolute general.

In the Open class everything has been left at home with the Alcazareños Juan Vicente Martínez and Juan Alberto Bohajar. The difference between the two has been 1 points. Martínez has finished with 7 points, highlighting 3 wins and 3 seconds, while Bohajar has signed partial of 1-1-DNC-1-3-2, after 6 tests of 12 planned. The podium was closed by Alberto Colomer (RCM Melilla), while the first female was Mª del Mar Lara (CV Valdelagrana).

Alejandro Rivera (CV Blanes) has had no problems keeping the first square in Raceboard. The Catalan started the day with a slight advantage and that has allowed him to navigate without pressure. The trophy travels to Blanes by Rivera's hand by adding 7 points.

Equality and struggle have focused on the second and third places. Alex Buchau has been second with 15 points, while Alvaro Rivero (CV Valdelagrana) has been third with 16 points. The first female has been Laura Cabezas (CN Salou) who has completed at the 8th place of the absolute general. Rafael Ros (EV Seasurf Patrol), for his part, has taken the Master trophy.

It still forms Windsurf and despite trying to give a test today, it says goodbye to the Surfari Mar Menor with 1 completed test. This only test left it disputed yesterday and under some not very good wind conditions, left part of the fleet out of time, so the possible one was only able to complete with Jaime Andrés (CV Valedelagrana) and Carlos Ortiz (CV Isla Antilla).

The Surfari Mar Menor 2018 already has two virtual champions: Azul Sánchez (RCM Melilla) in Open Infantil and Alejandro Rivera (CV Blues) in Raceboard, except for changes and contingencies. The melillense has an income of 7 points on the second, occupied by Elena Paya, also of Melilla. The level of the melillense in these two days does not make one think of a debacle in the last day and with four tests ahead. Sánchez has signed, in what we are running, the partial of 1-1-2-1-1-2-2-1 after two discards.

Rivera has it clearer in Raceboard. The Catalan has added six partial wins and a second which makes it add 6 points after a discard. The fleet has a total of seven completed tests on eight planned. The Blues will face the last day with an 8-point rent on Alex Buchau (CV Formentera) that has gone up a post on this second day.

Equality, yet to be decided, is found in the Open class. Juan Alberto Bohajar and Juan Vicente Martínez will play the title tomorrow, on that third and last day. Both get tied to 6 points and the regularity of both makes it presagitate that it will be a 'fun' day for both of us. Not far, just 6 points, is the third of the provisional podium, square occupied by the melillense Alberto Colomer that adds up to 12.

In the Formula class, with a complete test and two regatists who have been able to complete the tour in time, the leader is Jaime Andrés Castro (CV Valdegrana) by winning in this one test. Carlos Ortíz (CV Isla Antilla) is the second.

12 / 10 / 2018: The lack of wind shows the first day of the Surfari Sea Minor in the Region of Murcia

The first day of the Surfari Mar Menor has been marked by the wind conditions that have left the Formula Windsurf and Open Slalom classes unable to close a test. The Open Infantil fleet, for its part, has been the first to leave the Minor Sea and with a few 5-6 knots of intensity, starting the first test, of the four that have been completed, after 2.30 hours.

After the first test of the children was closed, the fleet was made to the field of races with a wind that went up a little more in its intensity reaching the 7 knots of the South-East component (E-SE). Conditions that were quite similar in the other race field where the Open fleet competed, with 2 completed tests, and the Raceboard that have closed the day with 3 tests.

The absolute dominion of the melillense fleet in this first day in the Open Children's class, with four regatists of the RCM of Melilla occupying the first four squares. Azul Sánchez with three partial wins and a second is placed provisional leader with 5 points. Elena Payá, 3 of the leader, and Aitana Duarte, 8 of Sánchez follow.

Bat Juan Alberto Boajhar has set himself a leader in the Open class with two partial wins. The second and third square, respectively, has been for Juan Vicente Martínez who has managed to add 2 points (2-2) and for the Mellillense Alberto Colomer, which adds 7 points (4-3).

As for the Raceboards, the title's favorite has not failed today. After three tests, the Catalan Alejandro Rivera (CV Blanes), after adding three first posts, will take up the first place. Ávaro Rivera (CV Valdelagrana) is second with 7 points followed with 1 difference has been classified Alex Buchau (CV Formentera), another of the great favorites in the Minor Sea.
