The stage race is organized by the Nautico de La Coruña, Nautico de Sada and Ria de Ares

It began the fall Grand Prix of Vela in the Cruise class that brought together more than 150 regatists with the organization of the nautical clubs of A Coruña, Ares and Sada, to promote the local races in the Arctic Gulf.

The first of the five tests of the Grand Prix of autumn consisted of a coastal with exit and finish in the Coruñesa bay, with a scrapping, for the large cruises, in San Amaro and then approaching the outer port of Ferrol, to end in the Guisanda. The tour of the big ones was about 13 miles, while the smaller ones went about 10.8 miles.

In class ORC A finally won the ship Mambo, from San Pedro; second, Alma do Mar, from Nito Enriquez; third, Salseiro, from Manuel Blanco. In the class ORC B, first Impression 3-D Atlántico, by Guillermo Blanco; second, Zeppelin, by Luis Martinez; third, Argallán, by Domingo Plana. In ORC he defeated Salao Too, by David Rivero; second, Pingón, by José Manuel Naveiro and third, Albanti, by Ignacio Rodriguez.

The Grand Prix will continue on Saturday 20th of this month, with a race between A Coruña and Sada. On Saturday, November 3, the race will take place in the Ria de Sada. On Saturday, November 17 and December 1, the test is moved to Ares, where this Grand Prix trophy will be completed.
