During the next 12 to 14 October some of the best surfers of this modality will be gathered on the Cantabrian coast

It is all prepared in the Cantabrian City of Ribamontán al Mar for a new edition of the "Somo SUP Surf Championship." This test will be accurate for the National Olas SUP Circuit of the Spanish Federation of Surf and for the second test of the European SUP Foil Circuit of the SWL (Sup Wave League).

This edition has added six quotes from the "Somo SUP Surf Championship." Three days of activities and competition where the Stand Up Paddle will be the focus of attention within the European framework.

This year, the test is again noticeable for the National Circuit of SUP Olas, so the organization confirms that many of the best Spanish athletes will be at the event. This test will be essential to address the final section of the circuit to be held in Fuerteventura in December.

As a novelty, the test includes for the first time the discipline of SUP Foil. This is currently on the rise worldwide and will arrive in Somo with the second test of the European Circuit of the SUP Wave League after its first stage in Hossegor (France).

A total of nine categories are found, the usual, SUP Men's and Women's Waves, and are joined by LongSUP, Hinctales SUP, SUP Wave Race and SUP Foil. As in previous editions, the test wants to continue to promote and develop the Stand Up Paddle of waves among the younger ones so that the categories Sub 18 (male and female) and Sub 14 (mixed) will also be disputed.
