The event wants to bring the nautical to more fans by encouraging the practice of the sports sailing

Innovation, technology and entrepreneurship are the main areas on which the 57th edition of the Barcelona International Nautical Hall will take place from 10 to 14 October in the Port Vell of the Catalan capital. The living room will grow by 8% from the previous edition with more exhibitors, boats, space and activities to discover the future of the nautical and enjoy the world of navigation.

Organized by Fira de Barcelona, with the collaboration of the National Association of Nautical Enterprises (ANEN), the Barcelona Nautical Hall is leading its most professional side with the celebration of the first Nautic Tech International Investment Forum, a competition in which 35 national and international startups linked to the nautical industry have taken part, and with the second edition of the Professional Meetings, a series of meetings to encourage business contacts between professionals in the nautical sector.

In addition, more than 120 new developments will be made available in the Nautical Hall on ships, engines and electronics, which show how the world's leading brands are betting on the incorporation of technology to increase the performance of their sailboats, yachts, boats or engines. Among the developments, a dozen models nominated for Best European Boat of the Year are highlighted.

Thus, the docks of Spain and the Fusta of Port Vell will have one of the largest floating samples of recent years and the best that can be gathered today throughout Spain. In turn, on the ground, small boats and pneumatic will be displayed, as well as the latest developments in electronics products, engines, paintings, sailing, trailers, charter and nautical services.

Marks such as Astandoa, Hanse, Solaris, Dufour, Jeanneau, Bénéteau, Sunseeker, Azimut, Bayliner, De Antonio Yachts, Pardo Yacht, Prestige or Quicksilver will be present in a lounge that will reflect the best time in the sector. In the 2018 edition, it will have 275 exhibitors and more than 700 boats (171, in water), which will occupy more than 25,400 square meters of net surface, 8% more than the previous edition. It will also have a brokerage space of craft of occasion with length between 18 and 30 meters.
