This weekend will be held on the beach of La Caleta, El Altillo, this surf festival... the Sports Club of Surf Oleaje will hold a year again the "Surfing Festival North Thing 2018," a valid test for the FESurfing Cup of Longboard, the Canary of Bodyboard Promises and for the Island Promises of Gran Canaria of Surf.

The event, organized by the Sports Club of Surf Oleaje, the Canary Federation of Surf and the Spanish Federation of Surfing, lands in the City Council of La Villa de Moya, sponsor of the event. The government of the Canary Islands, General Directorate of Sports, Instituto Insular de Sportes del Cabildo de Gran Canaria, Arucas, Excell and Hydro Flask, also works with the festival.

The Modalities and categories that can be spread shall be as follows:

Longboard Open (National and Autonomous Valedera)
Bodyboard Alevín sub12 (Autonomical and Insular Valedera)
Children's Bodyboard sub14 (Autonomical and Island Valedera)
Bodyboard Cadete sub16 (Autonomical and Insular Valedera)
Young Bodyboard sub18 female (Autonomous and Insular Valedera)
Young Bodyboard sub18 male (Autonomous and Insular Valedera)
Female young surf sub18 (Island Valedera)
Male Junior Surf sub18 (Island Valedera)

In prizes, 500 €will be distributed for the National Open Longboard category. In addition, all modalities and categories will receive trophy and award.
