Curro Manchón also wins in master's degree

The race has been held in the waters of Portimao until this Thursday, closing with a total of six tests after two initial days without wind, the third with four sleeves and the last two in the two days after. The one of the farewell, a single manga contested under loose winds, came to confirm the absolute subchampionship and triumph in the category Master of the Andalusian Curro Manchón, belonging to the Windsurfing team of the CN Puerto Sherry.

The one in Manchón has been a regatta in the back from the fourth square he occupied after the first four tests. On that day he finished his performance with an 8th in the fourth test, which in the absence of being able to still use the discard prevented him from wearing a 3rd and two previous seconds. After that, two more second and taking off the ballast of its worst result, they snuck the rest into a new triumph in the sevillano's palmaris.

The absolute victory was for the lush Joao Rodries, first Grand Master, and after Manchon completed the podium the Finnish Juha Blinnikka, also of higher category by age. In the same race the parents of Curro, Paco and María Antonia participated, the latter forced to withdraw on the first day after being hurt in a heel. Paco, for his part, once again showed his good condition in form by imposing himself in the super veteran category from a meritorious tenth absolute square. Both of them also belong to the CN team Puerto Sherry.

In the same waters of Portimao begins today the Windsurfing Formula World Championship with Foil in which the Andalusian Borja Carracedo and Marina Paliau of the Nautical Club of Seville and Fernando Martínez del Cerro participate.
