Despite the adverse weather conditions, the Coca Cola Series technicians organized by the Marítimo de Canido Club, avoided the cancellation of the Sunday programming of the Abanca Week, by completing a valid manga in which the young promises of the 420 Spanish were imposed: Jacobo García and Antoni Ripoll of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo, the current world champions Martín Wizner and Pedro Ameneiro of the Real Nautical Club of Vigo; while in vaudien the current world champions did not give truce to the children, making themselves with the gold. All classes managed to score, even the three laser classes, as well as the masters.

Mala pina offered the Ria de Vigo at 11: 00 a.m., which was the time set for the beginning of the sleeves... to the point the judges ordered the fleet to stay in the port of Canido waiting for the fog to rise. Little by little this was happening, but another problem appeared: the lack of wind. Despite this at the least opportunity, when they blew about 3 to 4 knots from the northwest, the ships were ordered to go down and the competition started with 5 knots. The bad thing is that the little existing wind rolled 40 degrees, and two exits had to be cancelled.

In 420 the world champions Wizner and Ameneiro, could not also with the champions but Sub17: Jacobo García and Antoni Ripoll, the broce was for the tandem of Cangas Piñeiro-Juncal, the fourth place for a great female truipulation, Paula da Rocha and Sofia Martínez, receding the fifth place in two other girls of the Nautico Rodeira: Gago and Rodríguez.

In the laser classes the victories were more or less expected: the Pontevedrés Rafael Campelo de Aguete in standard, and the Vigueses Basarre and Martínez in radial laser and 4.7 respectively. To highlight the good races of the Coruñeses Jaime Carreiras and Marta Belén del Náutico de La Coruña that were among the best, improving their prediction. In a very good line, the Ferrolano Alfredo Fernández of the Bazan Group, who remained at the gates of the top five, being sixth at the end. To highlight that in masters the best was Miguel Reboreda of the Royal Nautical Club of Portosín.

The lack of wind accompanied by a persistent fog made it impossible for the first day of the Coca Cola Series of the 420, vaurien and 420 claser, which opened the Abanca Week by the hand of the Maritime Club of Canido, to be adjusted.

The technicians with the Vigués Emilio Méndez as the director of the race, the Arosano Juan José Durán "Veneno" chief official, the Vigués Manuel Rodríguez Moreno responsible for the protest committee, the Moañés José María González and the Ferrolano Alfredo Fernández Soto, could only contribute patience to the 100 participants who were held on the ground at the Vigués club's facilities from 2: 00 p.m., time scheduled for the competition, until 5: 30 p.m.... without solution the regatas committee opted for reasonable, to cancel the tests of the day.

Motivated by this blank day, the beginning of Sunday's tests has been advanced by 11: 00 a.m., and the technicians are confident that at least two valid tests can be held.

It is necessary to highlight the list of world champions in this race that marks the beginning of the Abanca Week which is composed of four double crews: Pablo Cabello-Mario Pérez (absolute vaurien 2017 in Poland), Paula Migulez-Paloma González (female vaurien 2018 in Germany), Martín Wizner-Pedro Ameneiro (absolute 420 2018 in Newport USA) and Toni Ripoll-Jacobo García (420 sub17 2018 in Newport USA).

At the edge of five o'clock in the afternoon, if the programming is completed, the closing of the first event of this Abanca Week, the Coca Cola Series, which is planned is chaired by the mayor of Vigo, Abel Caballero.
