The qualifiers for the semifinals of the World Cup have been held on Friday September 7 with a very positive role of the Spanish palists of the RFEP: 11 of the 13 palists of the selection have passed to the semifinals of Saturday and Sunday.

This year, the World Cup hosts a total of 236 palists from 35 countries around the world, including the following Spanish athletes: Olympic medalist Maialen Chourraut (K1M), third in Friday's classification, Núria Vilarubla (C1M), fifth, and Samuel Hernanz (K1H), ninth.

On Friday, September 7, the qualifiers for the semi-finals of the Canoe Slalom World Cup were held at the Seu d'Urgell, a stage that this year hosts the final of the circuit. In total, 13 Spanish palists have participated, of which 11 have been classified, a very positive result, according to the technical director of the discipline of the Royal Spanish Federation of Piragüismo (RFEP), Guille Diez@-@ Canedo.
