The Majorcan Laura Quetglas with a time of 35.30 minutes gets second place in a race in which the French Olivia Piana was the only one who could overcome the Spanish sportsman. The same result is that in the last edition, which shows that Spanish and French are the most feared European rivals.

After a very equal career with the French one, Laura recognized after the test: "I am very happy for this result and it gives me great strength for tomorrow's long distance race."

In the male category, the Spanish Rafael Sirvent ended up in a fifth meritorious position with a time of 34.15 minutes. His partner, Pablo Aina, would cross the finish line in eighth position with a 35.56-minute chrono in a race much contested by the athletes of the national combination.

Today, the three athletes will again have a new chance in the long distance race. In addition, Laura will try to revalidate the silver medal won at the last edition and Paul and Rafa to add the first in her locker.
