Energy Observer left Saint-Malo in June 2017 to complete a 6-year round of the world, 50 countries and 101 scales called "The Odyssea for the future..." after the Tour de France in 2017, 2018 has been dedicated to the tour of the Mediterranean, of which València has been the last stop before reaching Tangier in Morocco, after Lisbon, in Portugal and finally Saint-Malo in France for the departure of the Rute du Rhum-Destination Guadeloupe, which will mark the end of the Odyssea of 2018 of the Energy Observer

After six days of scale, Energy Observer has sailed from the port of València, thus ending its trip to Spain started in August in the Balearic Islands. The first hydrogen ship to turn around the world, thus completes its tour of the Mediterranean and is heading for the Atlantic to reach Tangier and then Lisbon. In València, the Energy Observer team was able to present the ship to the general public, but also to Cristina Gallach, a Spanish high commissioner for the 2030 Agenda, and Joan Ribó, mayor of València.

Throughout the entire scale, the Energy Observer team has received many curious in its exhibition space installed next to the boat in the Marina de València. Visitors were able to experience the adventure of the first hydrogen ship that is turning the world through virtual reality videos and interactive content.

The team also taught the boat to Cristina Gallach, a Spanish high commissioner for the 2030 Agenda, who was accompanied by Laurence Monnoyer-Smith, his French counterpart. The mayor of València, Joan Ribó, also went on board Energy Observer to discover the technologies integrated into this ship.
