Spectacular season start at the Pirate Surfing Contest

Kevin Orihuela, Teresa Padilla, Brais González, Edu Orduña, Bruno Martín and Armide Solideos are crowned "Captains Pirata" in the first trial of LaLigadeBodyboard 2018
Bodyboarders of Andalusia, Asturias, Canary Islands, Cantabria, Catalonia, Galicia and Euskadi gathered to complete a poster with more than 100 competitors who exhibited their potential in the Playa de Los Locos in Suances.
The XII edition of the Pirate Contest became the epicenter of the National Bodyboard last weekend. Two days marked by the good atmosphere and intense competition under conditions that were from less to more during the weekend.
The Saturday day was starred in the categories Sub-16, Sub-18 and Master. In category Sub 16 the winner was the canary Armide Solidios, the Gallegos Bruno Martín and Brais González did the same in Sub-18 and Master respectively.
By Sunday, with better conditions, the show and the emotion were not made to wait. Very tight sleeves that were decided in the last few seconds showed the potential of the bodyboarders. On this day the categories of DropKnee, Women and Open were decided. In DropKnee the song Edu Orduña got the first place.
In the female category it was the Tinerfeña Teresa Padilla who imposed and the canary Kevin Orihuela won the victory in Open showing a high level since the first round.
An excellent organization by the Eneseu Clothing and the Club de Bodyboard Cantabro in collaboration with the Cantabra and Spanish federations of Surf inaugurated LaLigadeBodyboard that moves to Galician waters next October to celebrate the Galicia Cup.
