The National Surf Team prepared for the "ISA World Surfing Games 2018"

Gony Zubizarreta, Vicente Romero, Andy Criere, Garazi Sánchez, Leticia Canales and Nadia Erostarbe will represent the national combined in the global ISA that will be held in Tahara, Japan, from September 15 to 22.

In the last edition held in Biarritz, Spain managed to win a bronze medal for the first time in its history on a world-wide event. This year, the ISA World Surfing Games will be a turning point as from the next edition the results will start to compute the Olympic Surfing debut in Tokyo 2020. This opportunity offers athletes and surf fans a broader view of how sport will look in 2020.

This edition will also be a before and after in gender equality. For the first time in history, the ISA World Surfing Games will implement full gender equality... To try to reach the best position, the National Technical Committee headed by the selector Pablo Solar, makes public the absolute surf equipment composed of:
