"Energy Obsever" arrives in Valencia and is already tied to the foot of "Veles e Vents"

Energy Observer is more than a ship, it is a means of communication for the planet... through a documentary series of 8 chapters of 52 minutes each, Victorien Erussard and Jérôme Delafosse focus on all those who innovate for the protection of the planet... Spain will be a key country in the first season, which will be broadcast this fall in Planète +, thanks to very inspiring meetings and discoveries for the team
The Energy Observer Mediterranean Tour continues. After Italy, a brief visit to France and the passage through the Balearic Islands, Energy Observer arrived in València on Thursday, August 30, 2018. A symbolic scale that puts an end to the Spanish "Odyssey for the future," as well as the Mediterranean Tour, before refinding the Atlantic in Tangier and Lisbon. For the next six days, from 31 August to 5 September, the ship will be tied to the foot of Veles e Vents, in La Marina de València, with a free exhibition open to the public.
This is the second time that Energy Observer has been sailing in Spain. In 2017, the team sailed its coasts during the transfer of the ship between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean on the occasion of the Tour de France. In 2018, after meeting the Balearic Islands, València hosted an official port of call, which thus closed a Spanish trip rich in meetings and innovations.
València is the third city of Spain and has the main freight port of the country and the first container port of the Mediterranean. This situation makes the city a strategic place for the future of the Mediterranean Sea. The city has therefore made innovation and sustainable development its priorities, thus joining the founding axes of Energy Observer.
The Energy Observer project is more than a ship, it is also a means of communication that wants to raise public awareness of the ecological transition. To share its "Odyssey for the Future" with the general public, Energy Observer has an interactive, pedagogical and fully digital exhibition that will allow visitors to live the adventure from within and better understand the challenges of ecological transition. In València, the village is located at the foot of Veles e Vents, in La Marina de València... The Village is a place of meetings, exchanges and discoveries, and will have free and free access to the public from August 31 to September 5. The Energy Observer team will also present to visitors the technologies of the prototype ship and how they serve to combat climate change. The exhibition will be open for free from August 31 to September 5, from 10: 00 to 13: 00 and from 16: 00 to 22: 00. Exceptional close at 6 p.m. on Monday, 3 September.
