The Regata La Solitaire Urgo Le Figaro is already in progress. Following the first stage, which had as the ports of departure and arrival the French villas of Le Havre and Baie de Sant-Brieuc, respectively, the Galo regatist Anthony Marchand, of the Groupe Royer- Secours Populaire, becomes the first leader of the generation, after the first conclusion of the 570 nautical miles (just over 1,000 km.) that separate both localities, using for this purpose 3 days, 9 hours, 57 minutes and 34 seconds since their departure on 26 August.

The Solitaire URGO Le Figaro is one of the most prestigious races in the world, considered the cradle in which the best patterns are formed due to its condition of navigation alone, the long stages in miles of journey between ports and the harsh conditions of the Atlantic Sea, are a clear handicap.
This was the first stage, in which some of the participating ships have been forced to leave due to the break of their sticks or candles, with a wind that has exceeded in one of the sections, the 35 knots of intensity.
