The National SUP Team to Italy to participate in the "EuroSUP Sardinia 2018"

From 4 to 9 September will be held in Torre Grande, Italy, the individual European title and by Stand Up Paddle selections

The Italian island of Sardinia will host this European test. The Spaniards hope to return to the good results of the last EuroSUP edition held in Peniche. Here, Ibala Ruano was proclaimed European champion of SUP waves, Laura Quetglas was silver for double game in SUP Race and Juan de los Reyes was hung the bronze medal also in the Olas mode.

These results, together with the great work of the whole national combination, proclaimed Spain as the sub-champion of Europe at the European meeting that was held in the neighbouring country.

The province of Oristano, Italy, will host an international SUP event for the second time. In this Italian region you can find the different conditions that this modality needs. Good quality of both waves and flat water, which together with its good climate, will make this competition a complete test.

The event is set in 3 locations. The main competition will take place on the beach of Torregrande (Oristano district) and the others will take place in San Giovanni di Sinis (Cabras district) and Putzu Idu (San Vero Mis district).

The selected athletes will be in charge of the national technicians Óscar Ruíz and Manuel Simoncelli. Both coaches hope to repeat the success of their athletes in the last edition under their orders. The Spanish team selected for this appointment is as follows:
