The beach of the Concha brought together more than 140 women surfers who enjoyed a great day of surfing initiation and a multitude of parallel activities

The female surf is booming and more and more people are added to this sport. The beach of the Concha, in the Cantabrian town of Suances, hosted a surf day in which 145 participants enjoyed surfing, yoga, art and music.

The "Iberdrola Surfing Day Women" was approached by many girls, of all ages, who enjoyed an activity where surfing was the epicenter of a multitude of activities that made the promenade of the town small.

Ambassadors such as: Garazi Sánchez, current Spanish champion and subchampion of Europe in 2017; Jennifer Pareja, silver at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and World and European champion in waterpolo or solar sisters, Mirka and Deva, both several times Spanish champions and recognized national surfers, played host in an event where female surfing was the protagonist.

During the day you could enjoy different activities ranging from a surf baptism, yoga classes on the beach to a surf art workshop. An event that brought together many people in the different tents that the Spanish Federation of Surf and Iberdrola enabled for the occasion.

The day would be closed by the traditional "Aloha Party" in which food and music were the protagonists. A live barbecue and music by the Melopea group were the colofon to celebrate the "Iberdrola Surfing Day Women."

This Saturday, August 25, on the incomparable beach of the Concha in the Cantabrian municipality of Suances, all girls who want to approach the world of surfing will have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable day, by the hand of the Spanish Federation of Surfing within the program Universe Mujery with the sponsorship of Iberdrola... who present an attractive day that combines: sport, culture and leisure linked to surfing.

The "Iberdrola Surfing Day" is an activity intended for girls and women of all ages have or have not tried surfing before. In addition, the event will have activities in which you can enjoy surfing and its lifestyle both inside and outside the water.

The planning of the "Iberdrola Surfing Day" is the following... and the eye that the organizers have a very special guest... no less than the current Spanish champion: Garazi Sánchez... who will share with all the young and less young girls who live this fantastic experience.
