Francisco Silvela and Paloma Hernández in Snipe, Camilo Felipe in Optimist, Martin García in Laser 4.7, Nicolás Viar in Laser Radial and Marieta Torcida and Paula Soroa in Feva, winners of the seventh edition of the Trophy Villa de Gijón de Vela Ligera, which was held during the weekend, organized by the Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón.

The mountain Camilo Felipe of the Real Club Marítimo de Santander, was imposed in general with just one point of difference over Marcos Hurtado, as well, of the Marítimo de Santander. The third place would be occupied by Aitor Carton of the Royal Abra-Real Sporting Club.

The Maritimo de Santander also occupied the first two squares in Laser 4.7; Martín Morales was the best followed by Juan Carlos Cisceros, the third position was for Diego Jiménez, from the Real Club Astur de Regatas de Gijón.

In Laser Radial Nicolás Viar, from the Real Club Marítimo del Abra - Real Sporting Club with three first in its locker was imposed on his Club partner, Perico Basterra, first in the fourth manga. The third place was for the santanderino Mario Cabanas that was imposed on the first manga on Saturday.

Among the Snipes that celebrated 4 sleeves, two per day, the triumph was for the local Francisco Silvela and Paloma Hernández, of the Real Club Astur de Regatas that made a magnificent Trophy crossing the first line on the four occasions. Marieta Torcida and Paula Soroa, from the Marítimo de Santander, were imposed in the Feva class, tied to points with Nerea Álvarez and Telma Aja, from the Marítimo del Abra, closing the posts of honor also bilbainas, Natalia Carrera and Carmen Arbaiza.

The eighth edition of the Trophy Villa de Gijón de Vela Ligera will meet in the Bay of San Lorenzo, to seventy-five ships and a hundred regatists from the north peninsular, in the most important concentration of light sail in Asturias... is organized by the Real Club Astur de Regatas, is reserved for the optimal classes, snipe, feva, laser 4.7 and radial laser.

The regatta field of Gijón Bay will bring together regatists from the Royal Maritime Club of Santander, the Real Maritime Club of the Abra-Real Sporting Club of Bilbao, the Real Nautical Club of San Sebastián and the Real Nautical Club of the Coruña, who will compete together with those of the Real Club Astur de Regatas, in an open and accurate test for the Interclubs League. The competition will start on Saturday at 12.35 p.m., with a total of six tests, three per day.
