The 55th edition of the Great Day of Sailing - Bufete Frau today has lived its last day of navigation, thus reaching the point and end. The absolute winner of this competition, a race organized by the Nàutic S'Arenal Club and which has been held since 23 August, has been the laser Jordi Lladó of the Royal Nautical Club of Palma.

In the Optimist class the winner was Marc Mesquida del Arenal with 50 points, followed by Alvaro Alonso del RCN Gran Canaria and Jaume Ribas del Arenal in the third position of the classification.

As for Optimist D, the first finalist was Nacho Sánchez of the CMSAP Ca'n Pastilla with 13 points, the second position for Nikko Palou of the RCN Palma and the third place for Dylan Jansen of the CN Santa Eulàlia.

In the Laser category 4.7 the winner has been Jordi Lladó of the RCN of Palma with 34 points, followed by CNA regatists Justo Martínez and Pau Homar. While in Laser Radial the first position on the table has been for Luis Cabot of the CMSAP Ca'n Pastilla with 25 points, the second place for Javier Vilariño and the third place for Marcos Plomer of the CVP Andratx. The first female has been Aina Bauza of the CNA, and the first master of the radial class has been Miguel Vilanova of the CNA.

The race, in 420, has left the CNA team composed of Conrad Konitzer and Fernando Rodríguez as clear winners, while the first female crew has been the CNA couple formed by Aina Colom and Clara Llabrés with 19 points.

In Techno 293 the first place has been for the CNA regatist, Xicu Ferrer while the second place is occupied by the Naiara Fernández fema, also from the CNA. In RS: X the winner has been Pepe Estrany of the CNA with 14 points.

In Musto Skiff the podium has been caught by CNA athletes being, the first position, for Justo Martínez while the second and third position have been for Nano Barceló and Joan Rossello respectively.

In the race of Snipe, Cristian Carbonell (RCN Palma) and Luis Valentin Fernández (Club de Mar) have done the first place while Bartolomé González and Antonio Gonzalez (CNA) have done the second, the third prize, for Kai Dost and Jorge Díaz (RCN Palma).

The third day of the 55th edition of the 'Gran Día de la Sela - Bufete Frau' organized by the Club Nàutic de s'Arenal has been held and will take place until tomorrow in the waters of Palma Bay. In this third stage of competition, four race fields have been established that have been distributed between Optimist Team Racing, the elimination series for light sailing, cruises and Latin sailing and, finally, a field for the Muto Skiff, Individual Acts and Snipe.

In the Team Racing of the Optimist class the first place has been for the Gran Canaria RCN, followed by the Palma RCN and third the Andratx CVP. As for the elimination phase of light candle in Laser 4.7 the first position has been for Alba Sierra del CNA. While in the Laser Radial the first position has been for the CNA regatist Javier Vilariño.

In class 420 the victory was awarded by the crew formed by Sigfrid Rovira and Cris Cortés del CN Balís. In the Bic Techno tables we must highlight the regatist Mª Lluc Bonet of the CNA.

The Latin candle has taken off at 1 p.m., while the cruises have done it half an hour later by highlighting Guillermo Pou del RCN Palma in the social ORC category.

The rest of the classes have been out from 2 p.m. In Musto Skiff it has finished in first position Justo Martínez of the CNA, in Acces Individual has left first Violet of the Kingdom of the CVP Andratx, and in Snipe the couple formed by Cristian Vidal of the RCN Palma and Luis Valentin of the Club de Mar.

The 55th edition of the 'Grand Day of Sailing - Bufete Frau' organized by the Nüutic Club of s'Arenal and which will take place until Sunday 26 August in the waters of the Bay of Palma... on the first day of competition have participated the light sailing classes: Optimist, Optimist D, Laser Radial, Laser 4.7, 420 and the windsurfing boards BicTechno and RS: X.

In the Optimist class, Joan López Prats de Es Nàutic de Sant Antoni de Portmany and Jaume Ribas del CN Sa Ràpita are tied in first position. Each one in his group has won the first and only evidence that could have been disputed from this competition. In the category Optimist D, the regatist Nacho Sánchez of the CMSAP - Ca'n Pascilla stands out.

In Laser 4.7, Rocío Cárdenas of CN S'Arenal and Alba Sierra of CN El Trocadero share the first position of the table. For its part, Aina Bauzá of the CV Port of Andratx heads the table of the Radial Laser. Both categories are dominated by females.

The victory of this day in class 420 has been awarded by the crew formed by Conrad Konitzer and Fernando Rodríguez of the Néutic Club of S'Arenal. On the other hand, the couple of S'Arenal Club Nàutic, Aina Colom and Clara Llabrés are ranked as the first female crew in this class.

More than 400 ships and 500 regatists will participate in the 55th edition of the "Grand Day of the Vela-Bufete Frau" race at the Nàutic Club of s'Arenal, which starts next Thursday at 3: 00 in the afternoon. The competition will be held in three different race fields, in the bay of Palma... in play the great trophy of the City of Llucmajor, which is a replica of the Rei En Jaume figure very linked to the history of the important city of Mallorca. It is the name of the winner of each edition... this award can only be left in property if you win three consecutive editions or five alternates.

Sponsored for the twelfth consecutive year by the signature of lawyers and tax advisers Bufete Frau, this race, with a prominent presence of regatists from the Balearic Islands, also welcomes participants from other autonomous communities such as Andalusia, the Canary Islands or Galicia and there are even some foreign ships such as Portuguese or German.

The Club Nàutic s'Arenal has called for this race, which has been held in the waters of the Bay of Palma since 1964, up to eight categories of light sailing (Optimist, Optimist D, Laser 4.7, Laser Radial, Laser Standard, 420, Musto Skiff, Bic Techno 293), cruise (ORC and Familiar), Latin sailing (Bots regatas and Llaüts Classics and Open) and adapted sailing.

The tests begin on Thursday, from 15: 00 hours for the Optimist classes, Bic Techno 293, Laser and 420... on Friday these same classes will start to compete at 12: 00 hours.

The CrossSailing and Team Racing will take place on Saturday for the Optimist from 11: 00 and for the Laser, 420 and Bic Techno Team Racing will start at 12: 00.

The same Saturday will begin the tests for the other participating classes. The Latin Sailing at 13: 00, followed, half an hour later by the cruises and finally at 14: 00, the remaining classes of Musto Skiff, Snipe and Adjusted Sailing will be released.
