The Valencian Salon will be held from October 31 to November 4 in La Marina de Valencia

The Valencia Boat Show, Salon Náutico de València, which is held from October 31 to November 4 in La Marina de València, has in this edition a closer involvement of Consorcio València 2007, the managing body of the Valencian dársena, which this year is the first co-organizer of the event, together with the Union of Náutico Enterprises (UEN), an association of nautical companies that has been responsible for the organization of the event for nine years.

The Union of Nautical Enterprises saw in 2008 the possibility of organizing a nautical fair to be able to expose its products together. "A living room organized by and for the nautical industry": from the beginning it has been one of the objectives and great demands of the Valencia Boat Show. In 2016 the Valencian nautical hall took a qualitative leap, going to be held in autumn, thus closing the Mediterranean circuit of halls with exhibition and sale of new ships, engines, services and accessories and adding an important incentive for the public and exhibitors: the possibility of testing the ships at sea. València has a privileged climate throughout the year, and the Marina de València offers infrastructure that makes sea tests possible, that is, the possibility of testing a boat before buying it.

In addition to being co-organizer of the living room, the managing entity of the Marina de València provides counter-performance in services and facilities, such as the explanade located between the Alinghi building and the megayate pants, an area of 12,000 m2 where the competition is held, as well as the Tinglado 2, whose rehabilitation works will be completed for the inauguration of the Valencia Boat Show. "We want to build, in a collaborative way, a joint project in company with the association of entrepreneurs of the Valencian nautical," they say from Consorcio Valencia 2007.

The Valencian dársena will also have a stand in which it will provide information on the services and activities of its nautical companies, as well as on the gastronomic offer of the maritime front. The restoration entrepreneurs of La Marina will also be involved in the Valencia Boat Show, with a series of specific restoration proposals aimed at exhibitors and visitors, as well as to meet the needs of the event.
