Ascen Roca del alicantino Real Club Nautico de Torrevieja, has hung the silver medal in the World Championship of the class Europe that has been held in the German city of Kühlungsborn, in the Baltic Sea.

Roca has been very regular throughout the championship, although in its world-wide start in Kühlungsborn it had two faces. In the first trial he signed a second job, in the second a DSQ left it at the 25th.

From there, the torreviejense began to mark good partials with three seconds and a twelve, a result achieved in the fourth race of the championship. With these numbers Roca has finished second the World Cup of the class Europe with 20 points, after applying 1 discard, the DSQ being the result to be excluded.

The podium has been completed with the Danish Anna Livbjerg, adding 6 points and new world champion, while the bronze has been for the German Stine Schreiber with a total of 23 points. In this same category it is worth noting the good result of Lluïsa Puig that has concluded 4th with 41 points.

Among the boys, Oriol Piña has achieved an 8th with 75 points, while Rafael Rabassa was 11th with 81 points. The podium has been composed of the German Fabian Kirchhoff (36 points), followed by the Norwegian Lars Johan Brodtkorb (40 points) and the Danish Kristian Præst (50 points).
