The Galicia Cup in Cortegada

Cortegada was the epicenter of the autonomous nautical ski... and with total success... the surroundings of the spa of the beautiful Orensy villa, were the chosen place for the Galicia Cup dispute, which attracted hundreds of fans who enjoyed the great show offered by both the elders and the younger who were the majority. 2018-08-11: The Orensian villa of Cortegada, hosts the first edition of the Nautical Skiing Trophy Slalom

Cortegada in Ourense, is a place of new implantation and perhaps a possible exponent of the nautical ski of Galicia and, in particular, of the discipline of the Slalom.. In this area, since this year the FGEN wants to enhance this place as the base of the Nautical Skiing in
Galicia, celebrating the training of the Galician Selection and the first test of the Galicia Cup... also, the excellent facilities and quality of the water will make many of the Riders choose Cortegada as a place for their training

The I Trophy of Cortegada will be held in the vicinity of the Balenario, whose facilities are unbeatable, located a few kilometres from the city of Ourense and Vigo. For those who do not know it, the center is located on the banks of the Miño River, has a ramp of access and two pants, as well as an unbeatable walk by river and from which you can see a few meters to the Riders. In addition, there is a public parking lot in the facilities. All this makes it one of the best, not to say the best place for the practice of the Galicia Nautical Ski.

This Concello Trophy of Cortegada is intended to be the beginning of an annual test with a long journey to make it a national meeting from 2019.

To facilitate the search for accommodation, we recommend a number of hotels and rural houses in or around Cortegada that cover a wide range of prices. It is important that you consult at how far the accommodation of the ski center is located. We advise you to book as soon as possible, because on the dates on which the Championship is held the local hostel occupation will be quite high. We recommend you, the spa of Cortegada, the Casa do Conde, the Casa da Fonte and the Hostal Buenavista.

Procedure to be followed for registration... the Galician Feds will be able to do so in the following Galician clubs:

- Wakawake Club
- Nautical Skiing Club Dummies

The remaining participants can either sign up by sending an e-mail to info @ fgen.net or javier @ cips.com.es, or by calling 630912384 or 629370408. The registration price is €10.00 for the Hyperminislalom, €20.00 for the minislalom and €25.00 for the slalom. Foreigners, as in other years, are exempt from registration. The registration price includes a small lunch on Sunday.

The date of the registration is August 16... it is necessary to be federated by the Spanish Federation of Nautical Skiing, the Galician Federation of Nautical Skiing or any other associated Territorial Federation.

Training:
Saturday morning, priority will be given to skiers who have not ski previously in the field of the FGEN session prices hyperminislalom: 15,00 €and session prices slalom and mini: 30,00 €

Competition:
- First sleeve slalom and minislalom: Saturday from 16: 00 to 20: 00
- End all disciplines: Sunday from 09: 30 to 13: 30
- The schedule of the disciplines will be forwarded once all the inscriptions are received and placed on the ad board of the championship.
- An exhibition of figures may be included within the schedule.
