70 ships start tomorrow in Vigo a Rías Baixas Regata under the sign of recovery

The 55 Rías Baixas Regata was presented in the Nautico de Vigo

The dean of the Galician races created in the far away 1964, the Rías Baixas Regata begins tomorrow Saturday, ending on Tuesday after four days of competition... the classic is organized by the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, its creator.

Since 2013 the test has been reduced to four days instead of five and the only variation is focused on the order of the arrivals to the marines, for it is already the sixth consecutive year that the gigantic sea of candles goes to Sanxenxo, A Pobra and Commud... the participation in line with the latest editions: 70 ships.

Again, the oldest race in Spain in stages, in addition to being one of the great in the country, will play the Rias of Vigo, Pontevedra and Arousa. The fleet will leave the Cies to port on the first day and starboard on the last day, playing ports of the province of Pontevedra (Vigo, Sanxenxo and Commud), but also of A Coruña (A Pobra).

The Nautico bet on Commud, A Pobra and Sanxenxo for its potential and capacity to house such an important number of units, which also drag hundreds of companions. In 2017 the order of stages was altered (Sanxenxo became the last port of departure instead of Commud), but always with A Pobra as an intermediate marina on which the competition pivot.

This year, the current Saga representative "Pairo" will be patronized by both Bugallo and José Luis Freire... another of the strong will be the "Solventis" patronized by Malalo Bermudez de Castro.
