Milín Llamedo and Pedro Vázquez are imposed in an end of infarction in the Seal descent

The four ships were devouring miles of river until they presented themselves together at the entrance to Ribadesella. The K2 composed of Julio Martínez and Rubén González Pereda was the only one who chose to carry on the island of La Boticaria.
They employed in the maneuver the same time as the three ships that decided to continue through the water, which brought the four K2 back together for the final sprint. In male K1 the end was similar. So much so that the judges decided to grant the victory together to Borja Estomba (The Oviedo Kayak Bank) and Guillermo Fidalgo (Kayak Pico Azul), both with a time of 1: 12: 27. The podium was completed by Kiko Vega (Ribadesella Cultural and Sports Society).
In the female K2 Amaia Osaba and Eva Barrios, who came from obtaining the bronze medal at the European Marathon Championship, they met the forecasts and took the victory (1: 19: 21). Tania Elisabeth Alvarez and Tania Fernández got on the second step of the podium, while the third square was for the British Fay Lamph and Alice Haw. For his part Arantza Toledo (1: 29: 25) was proclaimed champion in female K1, category where Celia Remis and Isabel Goikoetxea completed the podium.
Among the canoes the main favorites did not fail. Manuel Antonio Campos and José Manuel Sánchez (1: 25: 15) achieved their third consecutive victory in male C2, overcoming Jaime Duro-Álvaro López and José Óscar Osma-Samuel Mayor. While in male C1 the local Diego Suárez (1: 35: 06) made the public of Ribadesella happy to win for the second year in a row, ahead of Diego Romero and Javier Bernal.
