The Valencian team is now heading for its next two dates; the German championship, 21-27 July at the Circolo Vela Arco and the English championship from 4 to 10 August in Wales

The optimist team of the Real Club Náutico de Valencia signed a great performance at the International Cup of States - CIÉ 2018, in which more than 430 regatists from 8 to 14 years of age from 11 different countries, including 5 of the 20 best regatists on the international scene. The test, organized by the Sailing Circle of Bordeaux, ended last Friday in the waters of Lake Hourtin, the largest in France, and is one of the most important quotes on the European calendar.

In the Minimes class, in which 200 regatists between the ages of 12 and 14 participated, the Valencian Carlos Espí ended up in the third position, and both he and Alfonso Moreno remained in the top ten of the table with podium options during the first three days of the race. Alfonso Moreno was sixth in the final classification, while Pablo Moreno ended up in the ninth position of this class. On the other hand, Isi Collado was 67, Elena de Tomás was 73, and Maria Montánchez ended up at 192.

In the Benjamin class, which brought together 148 regatists under the age of 12, Rafael de Tomás led the table from the beginning of the competition, resisting the pressure of his most direct opponents and rising with a well-deserved first place in the final classification. His club partner Manu Montchez was the 62nd in the general ranking, as part of the silver group.
