Es la primera vez que la Bahía de Cádiz acoge este evento profesional de alto nivel, considerado el mejor circuito de regatas para barcos monocascos del mundo

This is the first time that the Bay of Cadiz has hosted this high-level professional event, considered the best race circuit for monocasque ships in the world

The Puerto Sherry marina has been chosen as one of the selected headquarters of the best race circuit for monocasque ships in the world, the 52 Super Series, which will have its second stop in this marina of the Bay of Cadiz for the first time in the history of June 17-22, 2019.

The calendar of the 52 Super Series for the 2019 season made public yesterday is a great novelty with two tests in Atlantic waters, one of them in Puerto Sherry, from where the race will go directly to Cascais to close the Atlantic cycle in July.

The 2019 season will be premiered in May in the waters of Menorca, to which will follow the stops of Puerto Sherry and Cascais, and in August will return to the already traditional meeting with Puerto Portals, where the Rolex World TP52 World Championship will be reheld, as already happened in 2015. This year 2018 the Croatian ports of Sibenik and Zadar have received these tests and in the months of July, August and September will be in Cascais (Portugal), Mallorca and Valencia.

It is a world-wide high-level race circuit, which serves as a test bank for Copa América teams. In particular, it has the participation of regatists who have already announced their participation in the next American Cup of the size of James Spihill, Dean Baker, Vasco Vascotto, Francesco Bruni, Terry Hutchinson and Santiago Lange. Proof of the level of competitiveness of this circuit is that of the 12 participants this year nine have premiered ship.
