ANAVRE proposes to Marina Mercante the creation of a Nautical Subdirection
The Board of Directors of ANAVRE has met with Benito Nuñez, the new Director General of Merchant Marina. At the meeting, the president of the civil community handed over two proposals to the director with regard to the draft amendment to the FOM1144 security regulations. At the same time, the representatives of ANAVRE explained the reasons for the drafting of both proposals.
First, it has been proposed to withdraw the project and subsidiarily, they submitted the allegations to the specific points in the discrete ANAVRE of the current postulates.
The new Director General found several of the issues proposed by ANAVRE reasonable and assured his representatives of the postponement of the project until the second half of September in which an ANAVRE technical commission will meet with officials of Marina Mercante as well as other associations in the sector to review the project point by point to achieve the maximum possible consensus.
To the claim of the civil community to create a subdirectorate-general of Nautica de Recreo, Núñez showed its full and complete support, in the event that budget allocation was allocated for this purpose, understanding that the sector needs a partner of its own with the administration, he also committed himself to trying to address the differences in criteria between the different autonomous communities with regard to the examinations of degrees.
