The eighth edition of the Vuelta a Sálvora, organized by the Nautico Sports Club of Riveira, was held under the sponsorship of the Congalsa Business Group. A total of 19 vessels participated in this edition, which passed through the waters of the Arosa River, divided into three classes: Regata, CruceroRegata and Cruucero, division made on the basis of the handicap or GPH of the participating vessels.

Despite the fact that the Committee and in the face of the nil wind conditions made a small postponement, at 14: 20 the departure of this new edition was made, with stable conditions as to the direction of the 305 along the entire race and a wind intensity that began with about 7 knots and ended with about 14 knots of intensity.

The designed route went through the Ria de Arosa, with a distance of 17.55 miles. The exit was located in the vicinity of the marina of the town of Ribeirense; then, due to the prevailing wind, a small break was made, to surround the island of Sálvora from the south to the north, to go to the border of the island of Rúa, leaving it by port and ending at the arrival located in the vicinity of the marina. The final classification of each of the classes was as follows:
