El proyecto es francamente impactante... esta es la zona de varadero y capitanía

The project is frankly shocking... this is the port and capital area.

The Nàutic Cambrils Club will begin the first phase of the Club's remodeling work in September. The project, which will involve an investment of €7.8 million, will be carried out over a period of 3 years (seasonal). Today, the process of tendering for works begins. The companies concerned may submit tenders until 18 July.

The evaluation table will analyse the projects until 27 July, when the name of the winning company will be made official. The contract will be completed before the end of the month and the work will begin in September.

One of the main objectives of the Nàutic Cambrils Club was that the project should be based on rigour and transparency and that the partners should be involved in the development of the project. The project has been developed from the analysis of the needs of water in the next 25 years and the needs of the partners. This is why a Committee on Works has been set up with partners and meetings have been held to make the project known. All of them have been very successful.

The works will be divided into three phases. The first of these will be the walk that goes from the height of the entrance to the Nàutic Club to the access stairs to the beach. This phase will lead to an improvement in the mobility of pedestrians and in the access to the area reserved for the ships of the new nautical companies. The second phase includes civil work, water foil and port of call. This phase will involve the total remodeling of the pants by optimizing the water sheet. This will involve a total of 23 new moorings. The project also envisages extending the technical area of the port of call. The works of the two phases will be carried out in a total of two months. The third phase, which is still pending, will focus on building and improving services. The new social building, a new building for the School of Sailing and one for the Nautical Academy will be built. Finally, there will also be a new capital building where the areas for the administration and offices of the Club, the Barlovento bar, a pool for the partners and an area for the users, including, for example, the restaurant. The third phase also provides for the construction and renovation of the locker and shower area or the laundry service.
