This weekend was held in the waters of Gijón, the V Trophy of San Pedro de Vela Ligera, under the organization of the Real Club Astur de Regatas. On Saturday the race field was located in front of the beach of San Lorenzo, with a loose North wind, good sea and sunny day.

Carlos Ordoñez and Leticia Pelayo did not give any choice to their rivals and were very superior, first in the two sleeves were made as clear favorites to take the Trophy. José Palacio on this occasion with Hernán Jiménez de proel would end up in second position in the two sleeves, while the third place in the day would be for Luis Ford and Paloma Hernández, very competitive in the two races they finished third and fourth. Francisco Silvela and Carlos Álvarez scored a sixth and a third place.

In Optimist, the classification of the day was very tight, Nacho López would end up in first position after a first and a second place, followed by Aida Marqués who would end up in third and first position.
