The Valencian Dr. Luis Senís adds a new title in French waters of Saint Tropez at the Rolex Giraglia Cup. The height race between the French and the Italian city of Genova was closed with a high participation and many Spanish crew on the different international ships that have participated in the race, as well as the presence of three Spanish projects.

The SSenis' Swan 45 'achieved a brilliant and historic victory in Saint Tropez last Tuesday. The Valencian ship, led by Luis Senís and with Nano Negrín to the tactic and Natalia Vía-Dufresne as a navigator, along with a luxury crew among which were the Portuguese Nuno Barreto and Gil Conde, added three triumphs on three completed tests.

After closing the Offshore test between Saint Tropez and Genova, with 241 nautical miles of travel, the 66th Rolex Giraglia Cup already has its official winners in the combined general: Inshore and Offshore.

In the 'Swan Class' the victory in the Swan 50 has been for the Russian Scorpions, with Spanish presence as the pattern and tactic has been the Olympic Fernando Echávarri, while in the Swan 45 fleet the final victory has been for Dr. Luis Senís del RCN de Valencia. The Maxi 72 Momo was taken by the Rolex Trophy as the fastest IRC ship to complete the 241-mile tour, with a time of 24h. 21m. 44s.

The Swan 45 'Dr. Luis Senís', of the Valencian shipowner Luis Senís and sailing under the grympola of the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia, has taken one more step to conquer the 'The Nations Trophy Med League 2018' following the victory achieved today in the 66th Rolex Giraglia Cup. An appointment that has been held since Sunday, June 10, and which has ended today, Tuesday, 12, in French waters of Saint- Tropez.

A third and last day that has been marked by the wind, on this occasion it has been increasing in intensity to record the 27 knots in the last meters, it did the line of arrival, in the first test. Yet a test has been completed in which the boys of Senís, with Natalia Vía-Dufresne in the tactic and a team of first, have reperformed a very serious race from beginning to end, despite knowing the advantage they had before leaving.

The Valencian Swan 45 has led the test from the same exit. In the last stretch, when the wind began to test the entire fleet, it chose to ensure the triumph, third in the global computer, opting for the board of land and sailing 'guarded'.

The second test, with a wind exceeding 30 knots of constant intensity, has forced the race committee to make the decision to send the fleet to the ground and to conclude the Rolex Giraglia Cup with three completed tests over seven planned.

The victory of the Valencian ship leaves them first with three points in the provisional general, after completing three tests in the three days. The podium is closed with Ange Transparent II of the YC Monaco, occupying the second square and 7 points (2-2-3), while the French Axelle S is third with 9 points.
