An extremely positive balance for Spain in Belgrade in the European Piragüismo in which 40 countries have participated: with three gold presets in K4 500 (Craviotto, Toro, Cooper and Germade), K1 200 (Garrote) and K2 200 (Craviotto- Toro), one silver in K2 500 (Cooper-Germade), and three bronze in the distance of 1000 in K2 (Cubelos-Peña), C2 (Vallejo- Sieiro) and K4 (Hernanz, Roza, Gorrxategi and Millán).

The tour of Spanish participation in the European Championships began in 1997 at the first continental meeting held in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, where he obtained 4 medals, the same number that he repeated in 1999 and 2011, then increased his loot to 7 in 2002 and raised it to 11 in 2004, the year from which the European became annual, always with the presence of the national team on the podium.
