The Real Club Náutico de Valencia has been a kettle of activity this weekend, with the celebration of the 9th Marathon of Solidarity Fisheries, and the RCN Valencia de Vela Ligera and Home - Dona de cruising. In addition, the club's partners have shown their solidarity with the delivery of non-perishable food for the Valencia Food Bank during the Sunday day.
The weather conditions of the weekend have been harsh, but they have not been able to with the good spirit and desire to compete and to collaborate with a solidarity cause of the 30 vessels participating in the 9th Gulf of Valencia Solidarity Fisheries Marathon. Thus, in the first hour of Saturday, the ships were made to the sea spend 30 hours followed by responsible fishing on the high seas, which ended today Sunday at 15 hours with the weighing of the pieces, which has crowned the winner to the Cullerenan ship Cipex, which has exceeded 37 kilos and a half of fish, followed by Seven Seas, with just over 35 kgs and with the third place for Playa de Nazareth with 25, 865 kgs in catch. This same boat has been made with the trophy to the major piece with a weight of 13,470 kgs, followed by Cipex with 13,305 kgs and with Seven Seas closing the podium with 12,890 kgs.
At the end of the test, which has a solidarity character, the 290 kgs of fish caught have been delivered to the Food Bank of València, along with a large amount of non-perishable food provided by the club's partners.
