Esther repitió su victoria del año pasado, con mayor autoridad si cabe

Esther repeated her victory last year, with more authority if it fits.

Esther Briz Zamorano has won the gold medal in the Youth European Championship in the 1xJW mode, adding another great win to the World Championship achieved last year in the same mode. On this occasion Esther dominated his victory with more authority, being able to keep his most immediate rival with an advantage of almost 4 ″ in the finish line.

The other team that was classified for the Final A of this Youth European Championship was the 4- JM of Joan Cagigós, Aleix García, Luis Miguel del Toro and Ibai Camarero, which ended in a 5th final position since the change in wind direction made it more difficult to compete. Still good result and good work throughout the entire championship of this team that was able to deliver to its highest level in each race.

The 2nd JM of Jaime Rodríguez and Xabier Irigaray ended in the 5th position of the Final B, thus occupying the 11th final position. In a promising start to this team in its elimination, in which it was able to take advantage of teams that have finally finished ahead of it, they opened hope to a possible classification for the Final A but in the refishing were not able to achieve its best version, as in the final B itself.

The 4xJF of Ana Navarro, Aina Prats, Margot Figueras and Angela Vázquez also ended in 5th position in the Final B and 11th final position of the championship. It was difficult for this young team, which had three first-year girls, and they started with a quick stage in the first 1000 meters of its elimination, which they finally paid in the result of it. In the refishing and Final B they already made more constant races but the result could not finally be better.

The 4xJM of Daniel Múgica, Daniel Panisello, Koxme Burután and Osertz González ended in 5th position in the Final B, 11th final position. Since its elimination the classification for the Final A was already very difficult, and they had to row the refishing for the classification for the semi-final in which they had no options. In its Final B, in a race from less to more, they ended up less than 1 ″ of the 4th classified.

The 1xJM of Andrés Alvarez de la Linera Echeverría ended in 6th position of the Final C, therefore its final classification being that of the 18th place. He fought to qualify in the C / D semifinals to access the C Final, but in this final he could not do so in the same way and ended up in the indicated position.
