They were close to one and a half in the morning when the Bouzas Maritime Liceum came to the award of the XIII Solitaire Regatta and A Two which, in a brilliant way, had organized along the day of Saturday, May 26.
Consolidated after thirteen editions the "Volta ás Cíes" gathered a good number of regatists of both ways to circumvent the contour of the islands that protect the Ria de Vigo. The departure was scheduled at 11: 00 in the morning, but the Committee, chaired by Manuel Rodríguez, preferred to wait 40 minutes for the south-west, which still had a slight windfall, to rise with pressure.
At 11.40 the signal of attention was given and, five minutes later, the more than 20 sailing boats registered in the race were heading towards Subrido from Bouzas, the buoy that signifies the bass of the maritime environment of Cape Home. After leaving it on the side of Estribor, the approach to the northern tip of the Cis Islands, better known as Punta do Cabalo, was beginning to travel through the outside of the island of Boeiro, which would be left for Babor. From here, bow to Bouzas with arrival in the vicinity of the fish promenade.
After five hours, thirty-five minutes and six seconds, the Fetch, by Jorge Lago Piñeiro, of the host club, the Bouzas Maritime Liceo, was made with the triumph. After his stela, in the silver stand, was the French Jean- Claude Sarrade, with his Fend-La-Bise, who sails with grympola from Mount Real Club de Yates. And he closed the podium the Smaku, by Alfonso Rodríguez, also from the Boucense Liceo.
In A Dos the triumph was for the Menudeta, by Víctor Carrión and Ana Sardiña, of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo, which used in its layout a time of four hours, twenty-six minutes and two seconds.
The silver stand was occupied by Juan Martínez Pazó and Antonio Gaona, with the Ay Carmela, of the Maritime Liceo of Bouzas, being third the Salano Two, of Jacobo Vecino and Brenda Maure, of the olive nautical.

The Bouzas Maritime Liceum presented to the media one of its most important summer quotes of the year, the Regata de Solitarios and A Dos "Volta ás Cíes" that this Saturday will surround the islands that protect the Ria de Vigo.
Founded in the Rías Baixas de Solitarios and A Dos Trophy, a circuit designed by the Monte Real Club de Yates de Bayona, the Portonovo Nautical Club, the Real Portosin Nautical Club and the Bouzas Maritime Liceo itself, is the second of the tests of both specialities in the calendar of the Royal Galician Federation of Vela, so the presence of a good number of boats is guaranteed.
The signal of attention is scheduled at 11: 00 in the morning, starting a route that, if the weather conditions allow, will lead to the fleet from the vicinity of the entrance mouth to the Bouzas pier to the buoy of Subrido, which will be left by Stribor, an external tournament of the Cis Islands from the North to the South, passing the island of Boeiro on the side of the sailboat, La Negra by Babor, the Boya Cardinal Emisario of Samil by Stribor and arrival between the ship of the Committee and a buoy whose exact position will be announced on the radio and on the exact site.
As a pre-event to the Regata, the Bouzas Maritime Liceo has scheduled for Friday 25 a conference in charge of the touring party in Solitarios Alex Pella, a real specialist in these leagues, well known in the field of the sport of the sailing, for its charism and successes, among which is to be the only Spanish to have won the transoceanic regatta in Solitarios of the Rum Route. In January last year he beat the record of the absolute speed of the sailing world, known as the Julio Verne Trophy. The presentation will start at 7: 00 p.m. in the Main Hall of the Bouzas Maritime Licensing.
