The Nautico de Valencia will deliver an annual communication prize during the SM La Reina Trophy... the legendary ABC journalist Pedro Sardina will receive in 2018 the prize for the journalistic trajectory... most deserved impossible

The Royal Nautical Club of Valencia has created its first Nautical Communication Awards, which will be delivered each year during the SM La Reina Trophy, and will recognize the journalistic work related to sailing and nautical in general, covering a wide range of media and media that can go from articles to outreach and communication work, through audiovisual reports or radio programmes.

The awards will be opened during the next SM La Reina Trophy, in which the award will be given to journalist Pedro Sardina, current director of ABC of the Nautica, for his journalistic career in the nautical world. Sardina is a symbol of national and international nautical journalism, with more than four decades of dedication to this sport. Sardina will receive the award on June 30, during the SM The Queen Trophy shipowners' dinner, and will head the jury that will elect the winners of the prizes in 2019.
