It will be the first time that the fleet of 52 Super Series and also of the TP52 class compete in Croatian Adriatic waters

The high expectations that have been generated around the 2018 circuit of 52 Super Series will spend next Tuesday in the Croatian port of Šibenik, which already a reality. After many months of data interpretation, design, innovation, inspiration and thousands of hours of labor to build the ships, next Tuesday will start the one that, sure, will be the best season in the history of the competition. • Two teams are released on the circuit. The Challenger of Record of the next XXXVI Copa América, Luna Rossa, premiered in the 52 SUPER SERIES with the presence of the tactical that won the title last year, Vasco Vascotto, wearing the colors of the Prada firm's team.
• The project of German shipowner Hasso Plattner with the new Phoenix is also being launched. His star record is that of the American Ed Baird, who will go to the tactic.
• The Brazilian double Olympic Eduardo de Souza Ramos returns to the circuit with a boat from Botín and with the five times Olympic medalist Robert Scheidt to the tactic.
• Two teams registered in the next edition of the Copa América will be of the game. The already mentioned Luna Rossa and the American team that links Doug De Vos's projects with his Quantum Racing and Hap Fauth's with his Bella Mente project. The union leader is Terry Hutchinson.

It will be a long season of five races that expands from May to September. All the races add up, from first to last. There are no discards, so getting ready for the first races of the season is fundamental not to add many points. The ships that have been built before, and in which it has already been possible to train and tune the sailboat, have advantage in these first days of competition over the new boats. But there will also have some advantage to projects that come with ships already used last season.
