On Friday the exit to the twenty-first edition of the Rata de Altura Bahia de Pollença - Trofeo Alfonso Echegaray, with a tour between Port Ginesta and Port Pollença of 104 miles. The pattern meeting reported the extension of the time limit to adapt to the weather, which cast doubts on the possibility of covering the singlature in the 27 hours that were initially offered...

At approximately 17: 30, the exit signal of the race was given with a very weak wind of a south-west component, which allowed the fleet of 25 vessels to take a south-west course to go out in a dyed direction. The Large Routes, JF Lecarpentier's Class 40, XMerit, x46 Tito Moure, the Bandit, Dehler 44, Juan Carlos Otamenti, the Korrigan, X46 Joan Balaguer and Juguesca, GS 45 of Xavi Torredeflot, were some of the first to stand in the head and mark distance with the rest of the fleet.

The little wind at dawn fell completely and the communications of withdrawal were happening. By noon on Saturday the bulk of the fleet had already launched the towel... in the afternoon, and only three ships remained in liza: the Bandit, tripulated two and the Inteman Barakah and the Coneix.com, patroned alone by Daniel Martin and Miquel Delclós, respectively... their attempts were sterile as at the edge of six in the morning the judges overturned the test.

This Friday from Port Ginesta begins the twenty-first edition of the Regata bahia Pollença-Tofeo Alfonso Echegaray, heading for the Royal Nautical Club of Pollença. A total of 33 boats are registered in this race, which is noticeable for the Championship of Catalunya de Cruise of Navigation of Height, in all its categories: Crew, Solitaire and A2.

The Catalan reduced crew fleet has been overturned in this race, where 14 usual vessels have been registered in the Catalan circuit of solitaries and A2, such as the X-Merit, Sa Sal, Lazy Dog, Don't Ask, Bandido, Grop, Coneix, Gida III, Jugeca, Enigma, Renegade, Interman, Sansol, or the Swiss Lalomai.

Also notable are the participation of cruises with full crew, where the winner last year are registered in real time, Routes du Large de Jean Francois Lecarpentier, the Saliar de Jordi Tobella, the Sayula de Fernando Echegaray, the Cometa dos de Xavier Costa, or It's my Time de Silvia Ravetlat, Traggo de Daniel Coronel, Stamitz de Oriol Tintoré, among others.

The Regata Bahia Pollença is a 104-mile tour that unites Por Ginesta with Port Pollença, a half-distance race, in which you have to cross the Canal de Mallorca, rushing to Cabo Formentor and once you have passed, you must navigate the complex bay of Pollença until you cross the line of arrival.
