The "Bribón Gallant" of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo, patronized by the Santanderino Jane Abascal, leads after the first day, the Regata of the 525 Anniversary of the Arribada de la Carabela Pinta, which organize the Mount Real Club of Yates and the City of Baiona to commemorate the effemeric.

The ship armed by José Cusí, which last year was proclaimed class world champion 6 meters with King Juan Carlos as patron, managed to be in the head of the classification after signing two victories in the two trials held in Baiona Bay... after him "Mena" of Violeta Alvarez, of the Royal Yacht Squadron, "Aida" patrolled by Paloma Botas and Javier de la Gandara to the cane; and the "Alibaba II" of the Royal Thames Yacht Club, led by Miguel Lago.

In the Open category, the fleet's most modern ships, the day's victory was taken by the Finnish "Evelina," by Henrik Andersin. It is the first foreign ship to join the Spanish fleet of 6 meters to prepare the European next September in France, and it seems that it has taken very well the measures to navigation in the Rías Baixas. The marinera villa of Baiona has been the chosen stage for the first competition test of the new Bribon, a unique sailboat among those of its class, 6m International and the first of this type that is built in the last 15 years. After completing its construction last year in the Garrido shipyards and being recently remodeled in the Rodman Shipyards, the ship will be one of those who participate in the 525 Anniversary Regata of the Carabela Pinta Arribada, which the Mount Real Club of Yates and the Concello of Baiona organize to commemorate the ephemeric.

The ship will debut in the race in commemoration of the 525 Anniversary of the Arribada de la Carabela Pinta, which will continue over the weekend. The tests, in which they will participate in exclusive ships of the 6m class, in both its classic and modern version, will be held inside the Bay of Baiona, very close to the coast, in order that anyone who wishes to enjoy it with the beauty of the navigation of these classic boats of race.
