First in the Championship of Andalusia of High Cruise for the "Tareist" of the Mediterranean of Malaga, second in the Second Intercontinental Cup Marbella-Ceuta after the ship of the Club Vendaval, the "Ceuta Yes"
The Grand Surprise "Ceuta Si" capitalized by Sergio Llorca has achieved its goal and today renews its title in the Marbella Intercontinental Cup - Ceuta for the second consecutive year. The boat of the Club de Vela Vendaval based in Ceuta takes off rent after finishing a third in the last test and wins in the joint general on the First 40.7 "Tareist" of Joaquín Angoloti of the Real Club Mediterranean of Malaga and the Sun Fast 32 "Maea" of Mario Antonio Molina of Benalmádena, second and third, respectively.
As the first Andalusian to be classified, the "Tareist" is the champion of the first test of the Championship of Andalusia of Cruise of Height. The following test will be the XLI Regata Mar de Alborán, from 1 to 3 June under the organization of the RC El Candado, which is followed by the race organized on 29 July by the CAND clubs of Chipiona and CDN Punta Umbria, to end with another test on 27 October of the hands of the CN Fuengirola.
After two coastal races the technical test has led to changes in the podiums of the different classes with respect to previous days without having affected the title defender. In the class general ORC1, they accompany the ship of Llorca the Dufour 40 Consultores Vera and Fernández de Ernesto Vera, winner of the last test, and the "Tareist" also ahead of the ship of Ceuta in the third test.
In ORC2, the victory lies with the "Maea," followed by the "Comfortina Amor Fati" of Rafael Ruiz de Benalmádena and the First 31.7 "Titicaca" of Graham Cox based in Sotogrande, winner of the last trial in his class. Meanwhile, in the class with reduced crew, the Sun Fast 36 "Kouko" of Pedro Butrón (CM Linense), only that has completed the three tests, escorted on the podium by the Dufour 34 "Abelardo Uno" of Emilio Sánchez (RCN Motril) and "Thyra" of Santiago García (RCN of El Puerto de Santa María), is over.
