"Mapfre" has achieved a strong triumph in the In-Port race of Itajai, the seventh coastal race of the present edition of the Volvo Ocean Race, which allows it to expand its advantage in the leadership of the In-Port Series. The Spanish team curved an excellent exit, but passed from the line in the first girth and mounted in second position the first barlovento, just behind the "team AkzoNobel..." "Team Brunel," who was going up as leader, had a problem with the bow candle and was left out of the struggle for victory in this first buoy... already on the arrival at a sotavento they also left behind "AkzoNobel."
