The Royal Nautical Club of Valencia hosted this weekend its most important light sailing race, the Grand Trophy Valencia, which this year celebrates its 58th edition and has also been the Autonomical Championship for the participating classes: 420, Laser Standard, Radial and 4.7, Bic Techno 293, Race Board and RS: X. The race has brought together more than 150 athletes who are among the best in the Valencian Community, and has taken three contested tests for all classes except the 420 who have completed four sleeves.

The largest class has been Laser 4.7, with a total of 46 participants from all points of the Valencia Community. After the three trials, the absolute and female winner was Carla Ruiz, of the RCN Calpe; with the second square for Carlos Altarriba of the RCN Valencia, tied to points with her, and third place for the Valencian also Isidro Codoñer. The first classified sub-16 was Marcos Altarriba, of the RCN Valencia, which has been fourth in the general.

Alicantina Angela Andugar, of CN Campello, has signed a brilliant performance with two first and a third place in the three trials held, which have given her victory in her class. His club partner Sheila Martínez was second, with the third square for the Torreviejense Roca Ascension of Togores.

The regatist of the RCR Alicante has not fallen from the first position in the three disputed trials, and has been made with a strong victory in Laser Standard, followed by Javier Muñoz Criado, Marina Valencia Sailing Club, with a good performance, and with the third square for Juan José Barceló, also of the Marina de València.

The CN Jávea couple has won in the four disputed trials, winning the absolute and female victory with only three points in total. The second square has been for the Castilians Nicolás Caballer and Enrique Monroy and the third place for the Alicantinas Berta Campos and Cristina de Béjar.

The Grand Trophy Valencia also brought together 48 tables of the classes, Bic Techno 293, Raceboard and RS: X. In the Raceboard class, Rafael Ros de Ev Seasurf Patrol has not fallen from the first square in the three sleeves held, proclaiming himself a champion followed by Christina Voyer of the same club with all seconds and with the third place for Marc René Arnold Leutscher of the RCR Alicante. The Xabian José Luis Boronat has been the champion in RS: X, with the Sicantine Guillermo Espí second and Jorge Aranzueque of the CN Santa Pola, third.

Víctor Ruiz de CW Hispano Francés de Valencia, who has been the winner in Bic Techno Plus with all the first positions, with the second and third place, respectively, for Tomás Sanmarino and Clara Alonso, who has been the female champion. The sub-17 category of Bic Techno has had Pol Sauer, of the French Hispanic CW, as winner with Andreu Ramos of the CN Jávea second and Octavio Ramón of the French Hispanic CW, third. The first female was Paula García Pérez, from CN Alicante Costa Blanca. Finally, in Bic Techno Sub15 the victory has been for Álex Ortega, of CN Jávea, insurance of Natalia Balaguer and Diego Ruiz, both of the CW Spanish French of Valencia.

The Royal Nautical Club of Valencia celebrates this weekend the 58th edition of the Grand Trophy Valencia, its emblematic light sailing race that this year is the Autonomical Championship for the participating classes. The test brings together this weekend more than 150 regatists from all points of the Valencia Community, who will compete in classes 420, Laser Standard, Radial and 4.7, 29er, Bic Techno 293, Race Board Y RS: X to get the score for the autonomous title.

Each of the participating classes is expected to have a total of 6 tests, three on Saturday and three on Sunday, when the trophy delivery will also take place. The wind is expected to blow with little intensity, accompanied by sun and clouds.
