The four-fold Olympic medalist Saul Craviotto will strengthen Marcus Cooper Walz, Cristian Toro and Rodrigo Germade - the current subchampions of the world, in the Spanish K4 500 that will compete in the European Championship and the First World Cup 2018 by performing the best time of the four candidate combinations, after today concluding the demanding selection process stipulated by the Spanish Federation of Piragüismo.
The four aspiring combinations were made up of seven palists: the Catalan Saul Craviotto, the balar Marcus Cooper Walz, the Galician Cristian Toro, Rodrigo Germade, Roi Rodríguez and Carlos Arévalo and the Spanish-Latvian Carlos Garrote.
The process started last week with a test in K1 200 and another in K1 400 meters, which generated a ranking with the classification of each of these selectives, as well as a relationship with the average of both tests. From there four possible combinations were established that made a K4 500 race, of which the best time corresponds to the crew by Craviotto, Toro, Cooper and Germade.
